Shari’s Adds Chief Operating Officer As Part Of Their Brand Refresh Strategy
Beaverton, Ore. – (June 4, 2015) – Shari’s Café & Pies announces the addition of Rob Geresi as Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Geresi joins their executive leadership team as one of many significant changes occurring at Shari’s.

We’ve re-imaged nearly 60% of our locations with contemporary building innovations; we’ve revamped our menu offerings with additional fresh, local and season item, and we’ve combined it all together with new branding elements. The updates were all driven by extensive guest feedback”, said Bruce MacDiarmid, President and CEO. “Rob is a key piece of the puzzle. He brings a wealth of restaurant and entrepreneurial experience to our organization, and we’re confident he’ll help us continue the strong sales and guest count growth trend we’ve been experiencing.”
Mr. Geresi’s background includes senior positions for Sonic Corp and Red Robin International. He was co-founder of New York Bagel Enterprises. In 1995, he received the National Entrepreneur of the Year Award’ from the U.S. Small Business Administration.
